Introduction

This pack is cross-curricular and is ideally used to prepare children for a trip to visit a national geological museum, the Tower of London, or a local geology gallery.

It’s equally suitable for stand-alone use as part of cross-curricular work combining Science, Geography and, if relevant, Citizenship. It will be useful for Science students exploring the sorting of materials and Geography students looking at the way a resource changes communities.
